I couldn't be more excited that fall and the weather that goes along with it is FINALLY here!! Although fall is my favorite season, I had never put much effort into decorating for fall in the past besides buying a few white pumpkins and some greenery. This year I stepped up my fall decor game and I'm sharing it with you all!
First, I decided that my main color palette this year was going to be mostly copper, cream, black and brown. Then I incorporated pieces I already had from previous years and picked up a few new pieces that I really love! I repurposed a lot of decor pieces from around the house and also a lot of them are from our wedding!
I mostly focused on transforming my console table, and then I simply swapped in some fall pieces in other areas. This is a good thing to do if you're either too lazy to decorate everything or if it costs too much to decorate everything. You don't have to transform every area of your home! Create a beautiful setup in the area where you spend the most time or that is the most visible, and sprinkle in smaller quantities in other areas you feel could use a boost.
I also finally got to do some of the ever-popular pumpkin lettering. That little white pumpkin above got the "grateful" treatment and it was so fun to do! I see why it's such a popular trend to letter on pumpkins...
Also, not related to fall decor, but all that liquor is leftover from our wedding last September. Yes, we drink it very slowly lol. See the post here where I explain how we totally saved on doing BYOB (luckily our venue let us!), we were able to return a bunch of the unopened ones, AND we still got to bring home extras also.
I just love being cozy and lighting wonderful fall candles. It gives me all the fall feels and I LOVE it. Is fall your favorite season too? Did you decorate at all? Tell me in the comments below!
